Miss Kennedy!
On the occasion of her 6th birthday.
(Just over 2 months ago. ;)
So, how did Miss KK spend her day of celebration?
She started off with some soccer.
In fact, she played her little heart out.Aww, this almost makes me miss soccer season.
No, wait a sec... it doesn't. ;)
And then she enjoyed some of Cookie Connection's finest (Garates vote: the snickerdoodle ;).
Gracias Nana! :)
Then it was off to "Girlfriends".
One of the hands-down, best party places for little girls to enjoy with all their little girly friends.
You get your hair and make up done...
then your nails, of course. ;) And take pics with cute friends.
Take a break for some dinner...
and then sing your heart out.
Followed by showing your best moves on the dance floor...
or the catwalk.
Your choice. ;)

And what party would be complete without gifts?
However, at the risk of sounding trite,
I think we'd both agree that good friends are gift enough.
So, Happy 6th Birthday Kennedy!
Hope all your wishes came true!
Like going to the the American Girl Store for some shopping. ;)
This year, Kennedy decided to do her birthday shopping w/ the American Girls.
Before we met our aunties for lunch,
we needed a proper pampering.
Like getting that much loved hair back in good working order. ;)
we met Aunt Faith, Aunt Paula and Miss Grace to dine on the beautiful patio.
(In front of the gaudy Christmas decor ~ yikes! ;)
The girls ordered delectable meals.
And enjoyed fruit kabobs and crudites as appetizers. ;)
We even left a little room for dessert.
(Side note: that cake is delicious. ;)
And what's a girl to do, once she has a full tummy?
Why, shop, of course.
And Kennedy did a girl proud. ;)
Well, that wraps up Miss K's 6th birthday...
finally. ;)
Dear Kennedy,
At times you seem so much older than your 6 years,
but thankfully you give us reminders that you're still our little girl.
We love your diversity.
And your confidence.
And the way you're kind to others.
We admire your perseverance.
And your creativity.
And treasure the way you still sneak into our laps.
We feel like the luckiest parents in the world, that we can call you ours.
Happy Birthday Miss K,
oh how we love you so!
