... that it all started when Ty was 4 (okay, almost 5, but still ;).
This morning, as usual, I picked out Ty's clothes. I grabbed a pair of jeans, grey long sleeve waffle tee, and this nifty little sweater that I picked up during Old Navy's latest sale...
...that was argyle.
When I went to put it on Ty (now, why am I still dressing him? I don't know... and probably fodder for another blog post), he stopped short before putting his arms in.
I said, "Ty, we need to hurry (the 8 o'clock start time has been misery for us, I tell ya), so please put your arms in".
Ty just shook his head.
Me (with total patience :0): Seriously, Ty, we need to get going. Please put your arms in.
Ty: What's on that shirt? I can't wear that. The kids at school will laugh at me.
Me: No they won't. That's argyle. It's cool.
Ty: Nope. They'll laugh.
Me: Seriously, they won't laugh.
Ty: How 'bout this. Let's make a bet. If you lose, then I get to play the wii... twice.
Me: Sure. (Whatever that means ;).
And guess what.
They didn't laugh.
And even better, Ty forgot we even had a bet. ;)
Here's the culprit...
The sweater...
well, yeah, and the kid.
And while I had my camera out, I thought
"Let's try and get one of those really cool jumping shots that all these people take".
Great idea.
Just not so great w/ a 45 inch ~5 year old.
Here's a sampling of the majority of the shots.
That's kiiiinda what I was going for.
And many of them ended up like this.
But I did get a few. ;)
And the one thing I want Ty to remember from this day is...
I WON!!! I WON!!!! I WON!!! ;)
♥♥♥
