The Waterfall...

During the summer my niece, Anna, came up for a week to "nanny" for her Auntie Rachel while many, many, many bows needed to be made.  During her stay, Anna, the au pair, and Claire came with us to meet good ol' Grandpa Dean and Grandma Buzz for a little day trip to some pretty cool waterfalls.

We had a great time exploring some of the most beautiful scenery you'll ever find.

Oh, and I got to learn that if your car "tells you" that you need more coolant... like now, they are not talking about your air conditioning and that your engine could explode/detonate/whatever on the spot... or something like that.

But it didn't, soooo, we're all good, right, Ben?  And I don't think it's totally necessary for me to call you every time the dashboard gives me some directive.  Don't you agree? ;)

But here are a few of the things that did need to be done that day. ;)

Rocks needed to be thrown...

and rocks needed to be pulled.

Dams needed to be built,

and crazy terrain had to be traversed.

There was definitely some climbing to be done,

as well as some exploring.

There were waterfalls that needed riding,

and some ropes that needed pulling. :)

There was food to be eaten,

and some blankets to be shared.

Basically, there were some memories that needed making.
And we were happy to oblige. ;)
