Kennedy is in first grade...
when "Neighborhoods" show up on the district mandated curriculum.
Which means we she gets to build something essential to a neighborhood.
Like a bakery.
Which, coincidentally, is the same exact building her sister chose 2 years ago.
So, we should be pretty good at it by now.
When we were done, Gwen looked at Kennedy's bakery and said it looked way better than hers did.
To which I quickly answered, "No way".
But now I'm thinking, she may have a point. ;)
Now why I couldn't even find capital letters, I don't know.
But, I promise you, Gwen, I did try my best.
I really did. ;)
But if you have any questions as to why I may not have been able to spend as much time on your bakery,
blame the two little individuals next to you in this photo (as blurry as it is).
You sure were cute. ;)
But, back to Kennedy. ;)
So, Kennedy had some pretty specific ideas as to how she wanted her bakery to look.
My job was to create a clean palette for her to work with.
While I was "wallpapering" her bakery,
Ben looked at me and asked,
"So how much of this project is Kennedy supposed to do?" :)
She did plenty.
Like, look, she's holding the box, isn't she? ;)
And here's a close-up.
Kennedy's bakery made a fine addition to the class's neighborhood.
Good job Kennedy!
And congratulations to me!
Two bakeries down, just one more building to go.
So, bring it on, Ty, I'm ready! ;)

I think a few rounds of Cake Mania might have to do with the quality of that bakery....;)
Very sweet post!
