Resolution and Thankfulness...

So, it's January 19th and I'm just getting around to writing my New Year's Resolutions for 2011.  Which is a funny thing for me, as this is one of my very favorite things to do.  Brainstorming ideas as to how to become more efficient, more thoughtful, more productive.  I love it (odd, I know ;).

But this year is different.  I mean I still have lots of ideas.  Lots and lots of 'em.  Just ask Ben. ;)  I have ideas in the areas of parenting, how my time is spent, how I can support Ben better, trips/experiences I'd love for us to have as a family, developing friendships, I even have an idea for a book.  But, here's the thing.  I'm really good at coming up with resolutions, just not so good about following through with them.

So, my resolve for this year?  To make good on all my resolutions of the past. One resolution at a time. Not focusing on time frames, but just making sure they stick.  That they become a part of who I am, my daily living. And all the while being thankful (and joyful!) that this is where God has chosen for us to be.

And honestly, I couldn't think of 4 other people I'd rather work on these resolutions with... and for. ;)

So, here we go.
Taking on 2011... one resolution at a time.
And feeling thankful for every step.

Although, I have to say, I think 2011 is already off to a great start. ;)

(I would have circled Ben's score, had I been more computer savvy.
Wait, I should work on that.
In due time, Sara, in due time. ;)
