Dancing the night away...

Our girls' school had their first Father Daughter Dance.  And to make sure that I could be there to sneak a few pics, I basically sold my soul to the Father Daughter Dance planning committee. ;) But in the end it was more than worth it. Which was no surprise... because really, what's more fun than getting dressed up, riding in a limo with your girlfriends and dancing with Dad... and Uncle Andy?  Yep, Uncle Andy came too, to make sure no Garate girl ever had to sit out a dance. ;)

Daddies, Daughters and one Uncle Andy

The other half of the gene pools. ;)
The girls ready for a night on the town!

After sipping delicious apple cider in fancy schmancy red (plastic ;) flutes,
our little dancing crew stopped by our local "mini Bellagio" of sorts, water fountain for a few pics.

Taking advantage of the photo op.

Kyndal and Kennedy
Two peas in a pod.

Sophia, Brenna and Gwen.
Super excited to dance with their dads.
Hoping to keep it this way as looooong as possible. ;)

And then it was time to hit the dance floor.
(While I did check ins for pictures, monitored volunteers, kept the snack table stocked, yada, yada, yada ;)

Both Ben and Uncle Andy proved their worth as great dance partners.

Gwen and Uncle Andy taking a turn.

One of my favorite pictures.
Even though I couldn't quite capture just how high Andy would enable KDiddy to hop,
trust me, it was pure adorable.

Ben, completely in awe of Kennedy's best moves...

while Gwen found her place on the dance floor. ;)

All in all, the dance was every bit of the fun it was promised to be.
Word on the street is that there is a Mother-Son "Minute to Win It" activity coming up.
Tito and I may start practicing now... for next year. ;)

Sara, Sara, Sara. I've been long awaiting this post. I have saved all of the pictures in my files. Thank you for sharing! I cant get enough of those dancing pics. Gwen's face when Andy dips her is priceless. And, of course, Kennedy's feet dancing on Andy's is just the cutest thing ever. I am so glad you gave up your freedom to be at that dance. These pics are worth a thousand words!

Sara, thanks for sharing this special event with us. My dad taught me how to dance(2-step) at a young age, but we didn't have that incredible venue! But our little girl hearts are the same when we are made to feel like the apple of dad's eye. So precious!!! love, Randa
