Summer 2011 has turned out to be quite the adventure for our little family.

So much to catch up on,

but, unfortunately, not tonight. ;)

However, I will leave you w/ a couple quick examples as to how the 3 little Garates tend to bring a smile to my face. :)

Tonight, Kennedy announced that she was going to write a song...

and this is what she came up with.

She said she just "thought of the words", 

but I can sense just a smidge of "Highschool Musical" in there. ;)

Ty decided not to be outdone and drew a picture of his own...

and added the "surprise" factor

(because I really do think everything is better as a surprise :).

The biggest surprise being that he chose to color, as he typically hates does not favor coloring.

It's of Ty and me in front of the Eiffel Tower.

I think to do it justice, we simply have no choice but to go to Paris and take our photograph in front of the real deal.

I shall call the airlines tomorrow... ;)
